The Regional Municipality of York has now completed the amended study for the Donald Cousens Parkway (Markham Bypass). This includes an extension of Morningside Avenue to Steeles Avenue, a widening of Steeles Avenue, and a widening of 9th Line.
New Ontario Photo ID Card
Ontario is introducing a new photo ID card for Ontarians who do not hold a driver's licence.
Community Safety Meeting
Councillor Raymond Cho will be holding a Community Safety Meeting followed by a candlelight vigil on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Malvern Town Centre (31 Tapscott Road at Neilson Rd. and Tapscott Rd.). All residents of Ward 42, Scarborough-Rouge River are invited to participate.
